I've been teaching Yoga since 2004. I've taught for a wide-range and diverse population, from athletes, to martial artists, to a maturing age with a myriad of clinical issues.

 

I have a Masters degree in Buddhist Psychology and a second Masters degree in Consciousness Studies and Ayurveda. I have been personally mentored by the late Georg Feuerstein, PhD, scholar and author of "The Yoga Tradition", and I have over 2,000 hours of Yoga Teacher Training in the Iyengar, Ashtanga, Vinyasa and Yin lineages. I'm also an Ayurveda Practitioner and Licensed Massage Therapist.

I Totally Get it...

I know what it is like to be a 'starving' healer.
When I first set up a yoga studio (ahem, in the spare room in the house I was house sitting...) I was charging $5 per class, desperate for ANYONE to come along, and always subconsciously freaking out about how I was going to buy my groceries.

I spent hours preparing classes only to find that one or two students would show up. And if they didn't have the money to pay, I let them come for free...

Fast forward to now.
